Yoga is where I go when I'm sad, broken, happy, bored, or, in-between. It gave me back my life when my dad died, and helped me lose 100 pounds. My background as a former journalist with an MFA in Writing informs my teaching practice: my group classes all tell a story, and in private sessions I help empower my students to embody their own narrative.
I want my students to meet their goals whether that is weight-loss, or posture-based. I also want to help you live your best life by feeling great in your body! My workouts are designed to help my clients fundamentally strengthen their core, expand their functional mobility and learn to listen to their bodies.

During our first, complimentary meeting I gather information about your needs. I walk you through several non-intimidating postural assessments to determine what areas you need to strengthen to increase your functional mobility. As my client, I will develop a series of workouts for you to meet your goals and improve your alignment.
What separates me from most yoga therapists (or personal trainers) is that I do not seek long-term private clients. My goal is to teach you how to literally sustain your own personal movement practice by giving you personalized workouts and teaching you how to safely and gradually progress them.
My aim is to create an effective, personalized yoga class, just for you. Whatever music you like, style...combined with functional mobility, light stretching, isometric holds in asanas, guided meditations all in a gentle flow tailored specifically to you with the prime focus on correcting your posture and lowering your stress.
